We partnered with Chinatown Market–the irreverent LA streetwear brand–and customizer Nicole McLaughlin to create upcycled artwork with a purpose. Using Allbirds scrap material, Nicole crafted six unique pieces for a charity auction, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to The Okra Project and Sunrise Movement.

We love natural materials, and we’re not the only ones. Inspired by a mutual adoration of Brazilian sugarcane and FSC® Certified trees, we partnered with fellow naturalists JUST to design some Limited Edition Tree Toppers and Tree Runners. And the best part—we donated 100% of the proceeds to Earth Alliance’s Amazon Forest Fund to support wildlife relief.

Air New Zealand got in touch and tasked us with an interesting challenge: to reimagine comfort for their Business Premier cabin. Our solution? Create a sleep mask that passengers would never leave behind in the seatback pocket, while at the same time highlighting a mutual commitment to innovation and sustainability.
Allbirds x Shake Shack

Burgers and shoes, together at last. For one day only, we set up shop at the original Shake Shack in Madison Square Park. There, we created an art installation and offered a pretty sweet deal: one-of-a-kind Shake Shack Tree Runners, a custom limited edition lace kit, and a Hokey Pokey milkshake, inspired by the flavors of New Zealand.

For our third Allbirds And chapter we visit DTLA - a historic area of Los Angeles that has recently gone through a rebirth and is now home to makers, crafters, and a burgeoning culinary scene. We brought back our popular Kotare Slate color - a nod to the tall buildings and skyscrapers that define Downtown - and added hints of color to honor three of our favorite brands who are helping revitalize the neighborhood.
